Titanium

I am really liking the story The Old man in the sea. I really enjoy how he draws you into the story and allows you to imagine what is going on. I think that the man is going to finally catch the fish and then he will find out he is hundreds of miles away from home. I also think that everyone will think that he is dead back at home and they will mourn him but I think that the boy will not think he is dead and will wait until he comes back.

but four hours later the fish was still swimming steadily out to sea, towing the skiff

I think that this quote stands out because it gives you a time frame for one thing because he doesn’t just say for a long time the fish was dragging him but for four hours. Then if you think about it four hours to be holding on to a rope and being towed by a fish is an incredible amount of time to be using your muscles.
