The worthy fish

Filed under: School assignments —— deadhunter @ 4:10 pm

I think that the old man will find a way to get the fish on to land. Even though land is very far away. The old man does not so much fear the shark as he does respect the one that he killed. He is afraid for the fish not his own life. I think he calls the marlin fish because that is what he is, he isn’t going to name it because that would be stupid and he doesn’t call him marlin because that would be an understatement. So he calls him fish as if he isn’t just a fish but he is the fish. The old man doesn’t use better technology because there isn’t any better technology. The old man wishes he had never caught the fish because he has realized that the sharks have a very real possibility of eating the fish. He also wishes that because he realizes that no one is worthy of eating this fish, so he wishes he didn’t catch it because it was such a great fish that it deserved to live and grow even bigger. I think that the boy will be waiting for the man at home though no one else will be. I think that everyone will say he is dead but the boy will not believe it.
